O Sarasvati, the One, Who endows us with new knowledge everytime, Who is decorated with new beauty everytime, Who has a face resplendent like hundred moons together, Who is attached with thought and the Veda, Who is compassion, Who is the abode of compassion! Bless and endow this poor soul with wisdom.||1||

O Sarasvati, the One, Who is beyond the captivity of immense power of the cycle of life and death, Who is beholding the beautiful knowledge leading to freedom from the cycle of life and death, Who destroys the various hurdles in the cycle of life and death! Bless and endow this poor soul with wisdom.||2||

O Sarasvati, the One, Who endows us with thoughts, boons, wealth, auspiciousness, the prosperity owing to various deeds and art, pure bliss and happiness, Who is the abode of all the fruits of deeds! Bless and endow this poor soul with wisdom.||3||

O Sarasvati, the One, Who is the house of the all splendors of the universe and all the art of the world, Who is beyond the scope of narration, Who is the ornament of our speech, Who is the abode of poetic artistry, beauty and happiness! Bless and endow this poor soul with wisdom.||4||

O Sarasvati, the One, Who is the Goddess of the world, Who is the illuminator, Who is accompanied by a baby swan, Who has eyes like new blooming lotus, Who is known as Lavanita, Who is the cause of splendor in the universe! Bless and endow this poor soul with wisdom.||5||

O Sarasvati, the One, Who is very praiseworthy, Who is beautiful, Who is the three Veda, Who absolves the fear of the cycle of life and death, Who is respected, Who is immensely wise, Who inspires us in our deeds, Who is pleasing! Bless and endow this poor soul with wisdom.||6||

O Sarasvati, the One, Who showers bliss on the penance done by the group of various sages and seers, Who is like the illumination for darkness like stupidity and arrogance deformities, Who never ages, Who rejoices Brahma! Bless and endow this poor soul with wisdom.||7||

O Sarasvati, the One, Who beholds happiness, Who is beyond grief and happiness, Who is the ornament of earth (or who ornates earth), Who resplends the universe, Who is the dear Goddess, Who is Tapasvini! Bless and endow this poor soul with wisdom.||8||

O Sati! Think me as deformed with intoxication and stupidity, and protect me since I am always intoxicated by pride. With mind and heart, I continuously bow to the One accompanied by a swan, Who is immensely wise and is the abode of all the qualities.||9||
